Biography

Dontrice P. Hamilton is the solo practitioner at the Law Office of Dontrice Patience Hamilton, where she has gained extensive experience and success in her practice areas before judges. Her practice primarily focuses on divorce and family law, as well as criminal law. Ms. Hamilton is dedicated to providing sound legal advice and strong advocacy to individuals and families facing legal challenges, with a proven track record of results. She is also a recognized and active member of her local community.

Ms. Hamilton earned her law degree from The George Washington University National Law Center. During law school, she interned at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and, upon graduation, served as a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable William B. Spellbring, Jr. at the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Hamilton is an avid runner and traveler, having visited or lived in countries such as France, England, Holland, Scotland, Canada, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Togo, and Ivory Coast. She also enjoys reading and has recently taken up Tae Kwon Do.
